Joseph Bellow

Bellow, Joseph D. Joseph Donald "JD" Bellow, deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed from this life to everlasting life with our Lord Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born on September 7, 1931 to Pierre Bellow and Ivey in Ged, Louisiana. In his adult life he worked on the tug boats on the Mississippi River, until he developed asthma and moved to New Mexico. JD began working for El Paso Natural Gas. Then he worked as an Iron worker Local 495 where he retired. He then worked at Vista Del Rio Mobile Home as a manager. JD had a love for the great outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four wheeler riding. He is survived by his loving wife of almost fifty-seven years, Joanne James Bellow; two daughters, Sue Bland and husband, David, Estelle Pavioni and husband, Kasey. He was a proud grandfather of Amanda Sanchez and husband Juan, Bonnie Bland and fianc� Mark Horstmann, Sara Gallegos and husband Josue, Jesse Bland and wife Jenna, Aaron Smith and wife Amber, Rachel Smith and fianc� Joe Trujillo, Aubrey Alguire and husband Robert; great-grandchildren, Luke Sanchez , Hailey Bland, Augustus Sanchez, Bethany Gallegos, Morgan Bland, Emily Gallegos, Shannon Bland, Leandra Alguire, Brooke Alguire, Caleb Gallegos, Vivana Trujillo, and LaLaine Smith. JD is also survived by his brothers and sister, Charles Bellow, Dorothy Newman, Donald Bellow, Ronald Lee Bellow and wife DeJuana, in addition to many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to UNMH for their wonderful care and thank all family and friends who have provided their support and love during this time. All services will be held at the Socorro Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, on Saturday June 14, 2014 at 11:00am.
