Joseph Robert Franklin

Joseph (Bob) Robert Franklin Age 78, passed away at his home in Placitas, in the loving care of his son, Russell and granddaughters, Michaila and Avi, on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Bob is survived by his wife, Doris; six sons, Michael, Bob, Mark, John, Chuck, and Russell. He is also blessed with, and survived by 37 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Bob served in the US Air Force as a B-52 Navigator during the Korean War. Following his military service, Bob continued to serve and protect communities in Pampa, TX, and Farmington, NM, where he worked as a Police Officer. He relocated to Albuquerque, NM in 1975, where he worked as a Freight Dock Manager. Bob will always be remembered for his love of family, his giving personality, and sense of humor. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 South Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 28, 2014, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
