Joseph (Joe) Stanley McEvoy

June 26, 1951 – August 18, 2020

Our brother Joe passed away to a new life on August 18, 2020.

Joe grew up in the Bay Area where he ran marathons, played baseball and was an excellent trumpet player. He belonged to the Plumbers and Fitters Local Union 467 and was involved in the plumbing and construction trades up until retirement a few years ago. He enjoyed listening to the many local musicians playing throughout the year. In his later years you could expect to see Joe visiting with Jemez locals and walking his dog Sasha daily.

He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Henrietta Martin McEvoy and uncles: Joe Alowishus McEvoy, Leo Martin and wife Virginia and Joe Martin and wife Lorraine. He survived by his brother, John McEvoy (wife Jeanette), sister, Christine McEvoy; nephews: Stan McEvoy (wife Cindy), John McEvoy, and Evan Boullie; nieces: Jenafur McEvoy and Elayna Seabaugh (husband Christian); great nephews: Ryan, Jack, Ariyu and Akoah; many cousins.

A Special Thanks to Billie Walker for her kind and generous care she showed to Joe. Our Brother will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
