Joseph T. "Joe" Pamplin, age 90, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was born in Shawnee, OK on December 6, 1927, to Joseph T. Pamplin and Orabell Harris.

Joe served in the Navy for two years as a fireman on the USS Cape Gloucester and the USS Boxer. He retired from Deere and Company where he worked in the warehouse for many years. Joe had many hobbies, he enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, and gardening. He loved to go camping and fishing at the Poudre River in Colorado. He would have fished everyday of his life if he could have. Joe was a kind and loving soul who would do anything for anybody at any time. He was so easy going and didn't like to complain. He would always say "Do the best that you can with what you got." Joe had lived through some very tuff times in his life like the Depression and the Dust Bowl. He never needed much to get by in life.
