Josephine P. Lopez

Lopez, Josephine P. Josephine P. Lopez, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 7, 2014. Josephine was born in Cecchini, Italy in 1935. In 1960, she met and married her husband, Leandro Lopez, an American Airman stationed in Aviano Italy. Josephine moved to Albuquerque in 1962, where she lived and raised her family. Her family was her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Leandro (Lee), daughter Anita Nevarez; grandsons, Mathew and Alfredo, granddaughter Alicia and fianc� John Tandenberg, great-grandson Fabien; daughter Carla Zuniga and husband Eddie; grandson Joshua, and step grandchildren, Dominick, Deremy and Jesica, and son Jayvin; son Frank and wife Dru; and granddaughters, Morgan and Perri, as well as her adoring cat, Midnight. Her three sisters, Paula, Mary and Anna, also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents Petro and Vittoria Pegorer and sister Rosina. She will be missed by many loving family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 11, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
