Josephine S. Silva

Age 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Josephine grew up in  Old Town and was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. Josephine is survived by her children, Ramona Silva and Carmen Silva; siblings Dolores Harris, Mabel Tellez, Max Salas; as well many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eloy Silva and daughter, Maria Silva.
Josephine was a loving and devoted mother, friend and valued member of her extended family. Her generous and loving nature touched many lives. She loved her family, and was always active in giving back to her community. Josephine was a gift from God, and an angel to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM at San Felipe de Neri Parish, 2005 North Plaza Street NW. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
