Joshua Brian Harrington, age 33, passed away October 15, 2022 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born April 27, 1989 to Alan Harrington and Linda Carr Harrington in Albuquerque, NM. Joshua was a loving, caring, and wonderfully funny son, brother, uncle and friend. His spark was infectious, his laugh was unstoppable, and his energy was unmatched. He made friends everywhere he went, and his goal each day seemed to be to make people smile, laugh and forget their worries, if only for a moment. He worked many jobs including fine dining, not so fine dining, care of the elderly, and payroll customer service and processing. He loved playing guitar, music, singing, his dogs, his family and friends and enjoying time with all of them. Josh loved people for who they are, and didn't try to change them. He was intelligent, but he traveled through life like a feather in the wind. The cares that lay heavy on us were not for him. He traveled many roads but, more often, carved his own. We will all miss him dearly. He was baptized into Christ at the Riverside Church of Christ. He was a member of the 205frontrow (tifo painters for New Mexico United). He was always charitable to those in need around him.
Josh enjoyed a special quote by George Gordon Byron, "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..."
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William O. Carr and his paternal grandfather, J.B. Harrington.
Josh is survived by his parents, Alan and Linda Harrington of Rio Rancho; brother, Jeff (Jenny) Harrington of Rome, Ohio; sisters, Kendra (Caleb) Harrelson of El Paso, TX, Laura Harrington of Albuquerque, NM; nieces, Violet Mae, Jenya, Katya, Anya; nephews, Jet Grey, Niko; grandparents, Beth Carr, Ruth Harrington; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Les Brown, Boyd and Kim Harrington, Dale Harrington, Elyn and Rob Nollan, Terri and John Vardeman; cousins, Summer, Jordan, Mackenzie, Aubrey, Kristina, Mark, David, Michael, Daniel; his special pet husky cross, Kairi.
Services will be held at Riverside Church of Christ, 3100 La Orilla Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120, Monday, October 24, 2022, beginning with visitation at 2:00PM, followed by service at 4:00PM.
