Joshua Paul Santillanes

Joshua Paul Santillanes (Doug Funny) was born on July 21, 1986, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He graduated from Los Lunas High School in 2004, he then went to UNM Valencia Campus, he went on to be an executive chef. He married Kameran King in 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the same chapel of the bells that his parents were married at. Josh and Kameran were together 16 years and have a 15-year-old son, Christian Santillanes. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Andre Santillanes, and his mother Cindy Santillanes.

He is survived by his wife Kameran King, his son Christian Santillanes, his father Paul Santillanes, his stepmother Valerie Gallegos, his grandmother Mary Gabaldon, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and a cat named Jinx who love and miss him very much.

 He was a talented musician playing the guitar, singing, rapping, and beat boxing, often playing the guitar and beat boxing at the same time. He attended Evangel Christian center playing the guitar on the worship team for a time. He was a perfect husband, an amazing dad, loving son, hard worker and all-around God person with a big heart the world will not be the same without him, he will be missed by so many people.

A memorial service is being held on Monday February 21, 2022, at 11:00am at Daniel’s Funeral, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110.
