Salgado, Juan
Age 78, passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, September 2, 2016. He was born in Holister, CA on January 27, 1938, to Vicente and Carmen (Gonzalez) Salgado.
Juan was a member of the San Jose Parish. He was employed at St. Joseph Hospital for 30 years prior to his retirement. Juan enjoyed bowling, camping, casino, dancing and playing his guitar.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Carmen Salgado, and his grandmother, Conception Pargas. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jaquinia Salgado of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Deborah Martinez and her husband Louie, Annette Chavez and her husband Steve, Darlene Parra and her husband Miguel; sisters, Lola Salazar, Veronica Candeleria; brother, Joe Salgado; Grandchildren, Matthew Miera, Edward Miera, Nicholas Tellez, Stephanie Chavez, Christopher Chavez, Priscilla Parra, Deanna Parra, Theresa Salgado, and Anita Salgado; great-grandchild, Aaliyah Sanchez; numerous, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers: Christopher Chavez, Paul Sanchez, Matthew Miera, Edward Miera, Nicholas Tellez, and Angel Salazar.
Visitation will take place Thursday, September 8, 2016, from 10:30 am-11:00 am at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Carlisle Chapel 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque. Rosary to be recited on Thursday, following Visitation, at 11:00 am .
Prayer Vigil will be celebrated following Rosary. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
A heartfelt thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses at Lovelace ICU and a special thank you to Lovelace Hospice Unit for the loving care they showed to our beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Juan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
