Vigil,  Juan Pablo  
Age 88, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Socorro, NM. He was born in San Antonio, NM on November 16, 1926, to Lorenzo and Doloritas (Padilla) Vigil. Juan's father passed away when he was two years old and his mother remarried when he was five. During that time, Juan moved to California with his Aunt Abner and Uncle Augustine and his cousins, forever sisters, Esther, Flora, Reyes and Charlotte. He returned to New Mexico at the age of eleven to help with his step father's homestead.  As a young man, he worked on the ranch of his brother, Esquipula, and there was born his interest in ranching. After marrying his wife, Betty, he settled in San Antonio, NM and continued to grow his farming and ranching business until he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Lopez) Vigil; his daughter, Dr. Virginia Vigil. Juan is survived by his son, John Vigil Jr. and wife, Marian; daughters, Anita St. Onge and husband, Robert and Rose Vigil; grandchildren, Rhonda Talavera, Eddy Talavera and wife, Nadia, Kevin Vigil and wife, Ginese, Amy Vigil, Arriana St. Onge, and Nicholas St. Onge; twelve loving great grandchildren; brother, Larry Vigil; half - sisters, Flora Milfelt, and Beatrice Chavez-Salazar. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 5:30 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 309 Garfield St, Socorro. Services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014, 11:00 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services.  Rev. Erwin deGraaff officiating. Interment to follow at Escondida Cemetery, Escondida, NM.  Pallbearers will be Eddy Talavera, Kevin Vigil, Nicholas St. Onge, Robert St. Onge, Albert Estrada, Robert Vigil. Honorary Pallbearers are John Vigil Jr., Byron Whitehorse. Juan's care has been entrusted to
