Judith Lynn Love

Judith Lynn Love, age 78, beloved wife and mother passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.

She was born in Dallas, Texas on September 1, 1940 and later moved to Dallas, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Roy George Roberts and Minnie Faye Pickett Roberts, her sister, Janis Ruth Roberts Hallum, mother in-law, Billie Love, brother in-law, Robert Love, stepsons, Cliff Love and Donnie Love, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Judy is survived by her husband, Don L. Love of Rio Rancho, NM, her brother John Phillip Roberts and wife Peggy Roberts, her two daughters, Marchelle D. Pettibone and husband Alan Pettibone, Stacy L. Garley and husband Russell Garley, her son, Marvin Kirk Brown and wife Anndee Brown, two step-son’s, Mike Love and wife Pam Love, and Barry Love, nephews, Mark Hallum and Hugh Roberts, nieces, Vicki Lynn Hallum and Nicki Arnold, cousins, David Pickett and Eddie Pickett, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grand children, and many great-nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born and raised in Texas, her Texas Heart found the Sandia Sunsets to be her new home.  She was a passionate believer in Christ.  She loved music and dance, sketching, painting and creating art, singing, and most of all she loved to play the piano. She loved people and people loved her – she would easily connect to anyone in need of a helping hand or shoulder to lean on.

A memorial to celebrate Judy’s life will be held Friday, August 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Rio Rancho 138 Frontage Rd, Hwy 528, Rio Rancho, NM  87124.
