Judy A. Ontiveros passed away on February 9, 2021 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico at the age of 69.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ernesto Ontiveros; daughters, Ana Ontiveros and Alicia Ontiveros; son-in-laws, Leon Lucero and Lorenzo Gomez; grandsons, Derek Marquez, Jerome Gonzalez, Isaac Ontiveros, and Dominic Lucero; granddaughter, Destiny Gonzalez. She is preceded in death by her father, Leo Gonzales and mother, Lupe Gonzales.
Judy was born on January 27, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Leo and Lupe Gonzales and grew up in Bernalillo. She married Ernesto Ontiveros Marrufo on June 24, 1972 and they shared 48 beautiful years together. She loved playing bingo, guitar, drums, dancing, listening to music, crafts, and word searches. She was a devoted member of the San Ysidro Catholic Church and Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Judy was very kind and caring to everyone. She loved to laugh and had a heart of gold. She made friends wherever she went and was loved by all who knew her. She was very close to her parents who passed away and we believe she is now reunited with them. She sadly leaves behind her husband of 48 years who misses her dearly. Being with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren almost every day of their lives, she was what kept the family together with love and inspiration. She will always hold a place in our hearts and her smile will live on forever. She was truly one of a kind.
