Julia O. Bourguet

BOURGUET- Julia O. Bourguet, born in Cliff, NM in 1925, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on December 22, 2010. Julia moved to Albuquerque in 1946 and in 1949 married Jeff J. Bourguet, Sr., her husband of 62 years. Julia is survived by her husband, Jeff J. Bourguet, Sr., her daughter, Judith Spear and husband Jerry; sons, Alfred J. Bourguet, Jake Bourguet and wife Daiana; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Julia was preceded in death by her children, Jeff J. Bourguet, Jr., Gerald L. Bourguet, Janelle Marie Bourguet. Julia always thanked the Lord for the countless blessings bestowed upon her marriage and family. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Association and served as a volunteer for New Mexico Blood Services for over twenty years. A Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm, Monday, December 27th at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, with a Mass of Resurrection following on Tuesday, December 28th at 9:00 am at the same location. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery will follow the Mass. Pallbearers will be Jack Placencio, Albert Placencio, Fred Griego, Josh Abrams, T.J. Jio, and Scott Downing. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Quezada, Gerald P. Bourguet, Art Madrid, Alfred E. Bourguet, Joe Martinez and Jerry Spear.
