Julia E. Levy

LEVY_Julia E. Levy, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1988, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009. Julia was born August 5, 1918 the daughter of Samuel Arthur and Theresa Richards Campbell in Colon, Panama. She had been a Licensed Practical Nurse caring for hospital patients during much of her career. Julia was a member of the Church of the Incarnation, a member of the church choir, and the Meadowlark Senior Center Singers. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sonja in 2003 and her husband Luke in 2005. Julia is survived by her daughter, Marcia Levy of Rio Rancho; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Catherine Brathwaite of Charlotte, NC, Henry Campbell of Baltimore, MD, Lilly Barrow of Smyrnia, GA, Doris Campbell of Brooklyn, NY, Rupert Richards of Brooklyn, NY, Joyce Ponder of Miami, FL, and Clifford Campbell of Palm Coast, FL; numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation for Julia will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6 PM to 8 PM with a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln, Rio Rancho, with Pastor Don Schlichte officiating. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.
