Julia Martinez

Julia Martinez went home to be with Jesus peacefully in her sleep on June 17th, 2020. She was born on February 28th, 1928, in Escobosa, New Mexico, to Ciriaco and Plajeres Martinez. She had ten children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Julia held many titles in her years, but the one she cherished most was Grandma. Julia loved children, and she always went out of her way to make a child smile. Julia enjoyed spending her days at the senior center, dancing with all her friends. She loved to dance. Julia was full of joy and brought smiles to everyone she encountered. Julia was a friend to everyone she met. She was a firecracker and known for her spunky attitude and fun-loving approach to life. Julia will be deeply missed by her family and those who had the wonderful pleasure of knowing her.
