Julia Rutherford Silvers

Julia Rutherford Silvers passed away Monday, April 27, 2020.  She has been laid to rest next to her beloved husband Larry Silvers.  She is survived by her sister Anne Arrasmith; brother James Rutherford; nephew Jeremy Rutherford; and niece Elizabeth Anne Arrasmith.
Julia was blessed with a perfect marriage, a supportive family, close friends, and numerous careers in the arts - including the theater as both a costume designer and performer, and as an artist in soft sculpture and hand painted silk.
She spent more than a decade creating special event experiences, followed by researching and writing three textbooks on events management and the development of a body of knowledge structure for the profession.  She became an internationally recognized events management expert and speaker at events around the world.
Julia and Larry loved to travel and visited more than 25 countries and cruised to nearly 100 Mexican, Caribbean and other island ports of call.  In her words, "I lived large and loved well.  Who could ask for more?"
