He served his country honorable in the U.S. Army. He was awarded the: Combat Infantry Badge; United Nations Service Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation; Korean Service Medal with one Bronze Star.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 1:30 PM, Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM.
