Juliann Theresa Garcia, 47, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 24, 2015, after a long battle with Batten's Disease. She was surrounded by her Mother Julia; best friend Fred Baca; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother David and her father, maternal grandparents Seferino and Fidela Lucero from Bernalillo.
She was a 1987 graduate of Albuquerque High School. She loved to go to Furrs Cafeteria, Merry Makers, Albuquerque High Basketball games, ride her bike, and loved her pets. Juliann also enjoying playing poker with her dad and Fred. A Rosary will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015, at 1:00 pm, with a Mass to follow at Our Lady of Annunciation, 2621 Vermont St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. A Mass of Christian burial will to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. My thanks to all the wonderful people who helped take care of Julian in her later years, Ann Falbo, her teacher in high school, Alianza Family Services, Dr. Luz Kwan, Antoinette, Nurse, Presbyterian Medical Group, who always squeezed us in when in need, all her caregivers, Sibyle Subiono, and Maggie Lucero.
