MAYHON - Julianna “Judy” Mayhon, 78, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011. She was born on September 3, 1932 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech University; taught Head Start in Santa Fe, NM, and went on to work with the New Mexico Human Services and Children’s Youth and Family Dept. Judy was always a strong advocate for children’s welfare, family’s and human rights. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Tracy M. Bridgen and husband James, and son Mitch Mayhon and wife Debbie; five grandchildren, Brian Spear, Ashley Quintana, Natalie Mayhon, Nathan Bridgen, and Kelly Bridgen; brothers Max Engert and wife Vera, John Engert and wife Linda, and Kirk Engert and wife Gina; two nieces and one nephew. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at United Church of Santa Fe, 1804 Arroyo Chamiso (corner of St. Michaels), Santa Fe, NM (Ph: 505-988-3295) officiating will be Rev.
