Karen Sue Reynolds

KAREN SUE REYNOLDS, 63, of Flora Vista departed this earth to be with the Lord Friday, May 7, 2010 in Bloomfield. Karen was born January 13, 1947 in Perry, Oklahoma, the daughter of Raymond Eugene Miries and Gloria (Beers) Miries. Karen attended Farmington High School and later graduated. Karen was married to Jerry Davis In 1966 and 3 sons Billy (Stephanie) Davis, Jimmy Davis and Raymond (Stephanie) Davis. They lived in California where she was a nurse’s aide and then moved to Kenai, Alaska where Jerry later died in 1988. She later married Larry Reynolds in 1990 at the First Baptist Church in Farmington. Karen was a loving, compassionate, caring person with many loving friends. Her passion was animals and she adopted and cared for many homeless pets with love. Karen is survived by her husband Larry Reynolds, step-mother Glenda Miries, step-brother David Leath; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; numerous family members and long-times friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jerry Dean Davis, and step-brother Brian Leath. Cremation will take place and memorial services for Karen will be held Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at south end of Brookside Park in Farmington with Pastor Terry Gills officiating.
