Karl A. Lucero, age 53, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016. He was born May 18, 1962 in Raton, NM. He went into the expands of heaven answering the call of his Maker. He was a 1980 high school graduate of Tucumcari, NM. He pursued his education attending Eastern New Mexico University, receiving degrees of B.S. and B.B.A. in Music Business and Marketing. He worked and managed at Pizza Hut and various Walgreen stores, as well as managed at Ross stores in Albuquerque, NM. His love and passion was owning and managing his own Rainbow Rexair Inc. Company, namely Eastern Air Systems from 1986 through 1991 in Clovis; Aqua Industries, Inc. from 2008 to 2010 in Rio Rancho; again opening Hydro Areo, Inc. in September of 2015 to 2016 in Clovis, NM. He is survived through his sons, Connor and Benjamin; their mother, Barbara and their grandparents, Edward and Susan Bligh and son Eddie Bligh; his parents, Samuel L. and MaryBelle Lucero; his sister, Paula and husband Tim Dominquez; five nephews: Nicholas, Noah, Nevan, Nathaniel and Nolan. To all of Karl’s and our beloved friends and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins in the Lucero, Bligh, Nichols, Baros, Campos, Serrano families: we owe a debt of unending love and gratitude for you showing to us your expression of tenderness in meaningful words and prayers. May God the Author of Genuine Love grant you his peace for your outward expression of love in our time of grieving. May our thoughts and prayers reach each one of you and thank you. If we spend hidden moments in the company of Jesus who can hide the evidence. May his love and blessing expand into your lives and the entire world. Amen. A Rosary was held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM; Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
