Katherine Ann Ganz

A tireless champion of the underprivileged.  A friend and protector of animals.  An outrageous cook.  A perfectionist for the right reasons.  A thick and thin friend.

Kathy’s education included: undergraduate at NMSU, graduating Phi Beta Kappa; UNM Medical School, graduating AOA; Internal Medicine Residency at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and Masters in Health Science Administration at the University of Denver.   

After medical school and residency Kathy provided health care at reservation clinics in Kayenta, AZ. and ACL, NM.  For 8 years she served as Director of the New Mexico Health Policy Commission under Governor Bruce King and Governor Gary Johnson.   For 10 years, she served as the Clinical Compliance Officer for First Choice Community Healthcare of Albuquerque, NM.

Her love for the southwest, caring for the underprivileged and love of animals will forever be remembered.
