Age 68, along with her brother-in-law, Edward Park, 65, was taken from us too soon by an auto accident. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Fern (Gray) Bennett, first husband, Franklin Shanley, second husband, Wayne Chisum and granddaughter, Ella Shanley. She is survived by her husband, Andy Shanley, of Albuquerque; children, Brenda Brown and husband, Charles of Albuquerque, Brian Shanley and wife, Susanne, of Stanley, NM, Tim Shanley and partner, Rose of Cave Junction, OR, Pam Shanley and fianc�?©, Anthony also of Albuquerque; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Bayles of Moquokata, IA, Georgia Fullard and husband, Danny of Waycross, GA, Gerry Park of Greeley, CO, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Kathy was a member of Christian Love Fellowship and the Triple Link, Rebekah Lodge #10 of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows for nearly 50 years. She worked with Total Community Care-PACE for 8 years in home health care. Kathy was involved in many community service outreach projects and she loved working with plastic canvas, being outdoors;fishing and creating many wonderful outdoor adventures with her family. A visitation will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services Coal Chapel on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services along with a Rebekah Memorial ceremony will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services Coal Chapel on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Keith Shanley, Frank Shanley, Justin Shanley, Wayne Brown, Mario Gonzalez, Allen Shanley. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to I.O. O. F Manzano mountain recreation area c/o Gaylen L. Brown, GS, Grand Lodge of NM, 2908 Northwood Drive, Farmington, NM 87401-3338.
