Kathryn Ann Hartness

Hartness, Kathryn Ann Age 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 1, 2013 at VistaCare "Hospice" Lovelace Medical Center. She was born in Colchester, Vermont on June 13, 1933, to Newton E. and Lottie Bessie Thompson. She married Louis Gallegos on October 19, 1953, they later divorced and always remained close friends. She owned Crosswinds restaurant, loved to crochet and cross word puzzles. For the last 10 years she resided at Los Volcanes senior citizen home. Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother devoted to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Lyndia and husband, David Chavez, Michael and wife, Louisa Gallegos, Elizabeth and husband, Anthony Zamora, Darlene Gallegos, Steven Gallegos, Laura Gallegos, Eileen and husband, Michael Prince; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She loved all her friends and Raymond Prince was her best friend, she loved to shop with her daughters, cook for neighbors, loved to watch Tiger Woods and loved her candy.
