Kathryn Louise Williams

Kathryn Louise Williams, born in Minneapolis, MN in 1932 to Edwin and Frances Finstad passed away on September 26, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by her children and a close friend.  Kathryn graduated from St. Louis Park High School in Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota.  She married Donald Pope, deceased and DeVern Gustavson, deceased.  Kathryn married Les Williams in 1986 in Ventura, CA where she completed her Bachelors Degree and entered real estate.  Kathryn and Les retired to Rio Rancho, NM in 1992 where she established her hypnotherapy practice.  She also served as a volunteer counselor for the Sandoval County Senior Connection and the Albuquerque Literacy Program.  Kathryn is survived by daughters:  Lezlianne Pope of Minnesota, Greer Gustavson of California, son Chris Gustavson of New Mexico and her two grandsons, Christopher Gustavson Jr. and Adam Abdou-Gustavson.  A remembrance will be held at Daniels Funeral and Cremation on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm for friends and family.  In lieu of flowers, donatiions may be made in the name of our loving mother to Wounded Warriors, Disabled Vets or the ASPCA.
