Sage, Kathy Diane

Age 67, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home in Peralta, NM surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Socorro, NM on December 7, 1950, to Henry and Pearl (McSmith) Gray. Kathy was a beautiful and kind person who was always smiling and she never met a stranger. She loved to garden and she loved the ocean.She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy was very strong in her faith and had a way of making other people feel good about themselves. Kathy married Charley Sage in June of 1971. Kathy and her late husband, Charley owned Sage Electric in Socorro for many years. Kathy will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Charley R. Sage; brother, James Ed Gray, daughter, Melissa Dawn Stienbarger. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Shawna Sage; her son, Charley R. Sage Jr. and wife, Adrianne; grandchildren, Ian and Joseph Sage and Tristan and Brooklynn Clem; sisters, Sherrie Jojola and husband, Albert, Lynda Hinkeldey and husband, Gaylen, and Karron Gray; brother, Damon Gray and wife, Cindy; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, 11:00 am, at First Baptist Church Socorro , 203 Spring Street, Socorro, NM . A reception will be held immediately following the services at the DAV building, 200 5th St. N., Socorro.
