Age 16, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on October 15, 2002, to Erik and Kim Johns.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: great grandma, Mary Paruch and great grandpa Frank Paruch; great grandpa, James Powell; great grandpa Russel James all of Johnstown, PA.

Kendrik is survived by his parents, Erik and Kim Johns of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Katie James of Rio Rancho; nephew, Carson Ostrowsky of Rio Rancho; family friend, Scott Ostrowsky of Rio Rancho; grandparents: Ron and Monica James of Johnstown, PA and Ron and Bonny Johns of Johnstown, PA; great grandmother, Flo James, and great grandmother, Doris Powell of Johnstown, PA; uncle and aunt, Rusty and Patty Felton and beach lovin cousins Sami and Jakob of Johnstown, PA; aunt, Leah Colbert of State College, PA; uncle, Ian Johns and cousins Levi and Nakoma of Empire, CO; cousin, Cody Johns of Littleton, CO who Kendrik looked-up-to; Boy Scout Troop 2010 in Rio Rancho, NM; friends from school and those who knew and loved Kendrik; three dogs: Briar, Koda and Shilo; one snake, Steve the Snake.

Kendrik was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

His special interests included: outdoorsman, hiking, fishing, hunting, exploring - always looking for an adventure; Boy Scout Troop 2010.

A Celebration of Life for Kendrik will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Shining Stars Preschool in Rio Rancho, NM. Let's love on each other and share his stories. Dress like you are going into the woods. Bring a note for Kendrik and/or family - share with us.

Funeral Services and Interment is private - family only.

The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made for Kendrik Johns Scholarship Fund or Send a Kid to Camp Fund and Family Go Fund Me Page.
