Randolph, Kent H. Kent Hale Randolph, 3 0, completed his baptismal journey on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Kent was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in September of 2009. A successful bone marrow transplant occurred in October of 2011. He beat leukemia, but lost the fight with the side effects from the transplant. Kent is survived by his parents, Gary and Twila Randolph; his nephew, Haeden Pridgen; grandmothers, Barbara Randolph, Farmington & Jeanine Hale, Albuquerque; aunts and uncles, Dale & Georgie Randolph, Anchorage, AK; Don & Starla Dahlstrom, Bellingham, WA; Casey & Michelle Hale, Albuquerque; Debbie Adams, Farmington; Vernon & Kay Zarlingo & family, Campe Verde, AZ; & Niobe Zarlingo & family, Pinedale, WY. Although Kent is survived by many cousins he was especially close to Katelyn & Karlee Dahlstrom; Anthony & Kodie Valdo; Autumn Valdo, Aaron Valdo & Juella Begay-Miller; Robert & Christopher Adams. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kristian; grandfathers Clay S. Hale & Robert Randolph. Kent never met a person he did not consider a friend and for that reason he is survived by a multitude of brothers; James Corcoran, Ben Nye, Omar Rabadi, Bruce Rivera, Andy Matosian, Ginia Ginn, Lindsey Duncan, Mark Morgenstern, Adam Grant, Noah Zark, Sean Kelly and more than we can name. A special thanks to the physicians and staff of the New Mexico Cancer Center; Dr. Richard Giudice & Dr. Annette Fontaine; the physicians and staff of the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Phoenix; the physicians and staff of Presbyterian Hospital of the MSU, AIC and CCC units; especially Annette Shaw (his angel); James, David, Shaun, Ryan, Ashley, Destiny, Maria, Misty, Tina, Lois, Santana, Jackie, Yvette, Cindy, Val, Diana, Debra and at the end Tony. We thank our friends and family for their constant support and love; Casey, Michelle, Joe and Candy Schmitz, Anthony, Dr. Tom Rothfeld and the staff of the Women�s Service Line at Presbyterian. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul Blvd., Albuquerque with The Rev. Beth Purdam officiating. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, Kent Randolph Memorial for Oncology Nursing Education.
