Kristina Miller

Kristina Miller (Romo), 53, a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2021. Kristina was born on June 8, 1967 in Santa Rosa, NM to Jose Ben and Patricia (Lucero) Romo. The Romo family moved to Las Cruces, NM when Kristina was very young. Kristina graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1986, and she attended Dona Ana Community College and New Mexico State University before moving to Albuquerque in 1995. She married Mike Miller on May 9, 1998, and together they raised Morganne, their most special blessing. The mother-daughter relationship between Kristina and Morganne was especially close, but all three shared joy through their Catholic faith and endless love for one another. Kristina’s beautiful smile and laugh brought joy to all those around her. Their world revolved around each other – many memories were made and will be forever treasured.

Kristina was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Ben and Patricia Romo; and a brother, Jeff Romo. She is survived by her husband, Mike Miller, of the family home; daughter, Morganne, of Las Cruces, NM; siblings, Judy Griffin and husband, Tom, Marilyn Coburn and husband, Dale, Debbie Romo, David Romo, Benji Romo and wife Laurie, Erica Tellez and husband Chris, Desiree Keys and husband Billy, in-laws, Mickey and Janice Miller, Greg Miller; and so many other cherished family members she loved so much.

A rosary will take place on Friday April 30, 2021 at 9:30 am and a mass will follow at 10 am at Risen Savior Catholic Community – 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
