Kyla Brooke Holt

Kyla Brooke Holt lived her life as a free spirit.  She was her father’s baby girl and her mother’s best friend.  She fiercely loved and was adored by her brothers.  She stubbornly fought to overcome so many obstacles in her life – each leaving a unique mark on her beautiful soul. She chose to take strength from her own challenges and became a nurse, so that she could bring comfort to others.  She was a loving and devoted mother to two beautiful boys.  She enjoyed rainy days, New Mexico sunsets and walks with her pets and family along the Bosque.  She loved the outdoors and was a true seeker of adventure. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and friend. She passed away in Rio Rancho, at the age of 24.  Kyla leaves behind a void that can never be filled.

Kyla is survived by her sons, Peyton R. Wiegel and Tristan G. Wiegel of Rio Rancho, NM; father, Kevin Holt of Rio Rancho, NM; mother, Monica Holt of Rio Rancho, NM; brother and family, Kory, Krista, Leah and Kailyn Holt of Rio Rancho, NM; brother, Aaron Holt of Clovis, NM; grandmother, Stella Holt of Amarillo, TX; grandparents, Monty and Peggy Merrell of Wells, TX; fiancé, Nathaniel Wiegel of Rio Rancho, NM. She is preceded in death by her nephew, Kasey W. Holt and grandfather, David E. Holt.

Kyla was a graduate of V. Sue Cleveland High School in 2015.  She then attended the CNM School of Nursing and graduated in 2019.  She attended Sagebrush Church in Albuquerque.
