BACA, Lamberto, age 92, of Albuquerque, NM awoke in the presence of his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Lamberto was born to Emiterio and Dolores (Lopez) Baca in Puerto de Luna, NM on August 7, 1917. Lamberto was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who served his country proudly in World War II in the US Army and was an active member of the American Legion Post #13. He worked for Texaco as a tanker driver and retired from Sandia Labs. Lamberto was a long time member of St. Anne's Catholic Church since 1946. He enjoyed carpentry, fishing, learned and played guitar by ear and taught his sons to play as well. Lamberto was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary, his children; Eileen Vivian and husband Felix, John Baca and wife Eileen, Jim Baca, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, five sisters and extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be; Felix Vivian, Marco Baca, Steven Baca, Carlos Silva, Chris Delgado, Larry Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Marlo Vivian, Roxanne Hicks, Michael Baca, Jeanine Gallegos, and JaVonn Baca. Lamberto's care has been entrusted to: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover S.W.
