Age 81, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. Larry was born in Marshaltown, Iowa to Earl Braley and Mary Hamilton, on April 13, 1934. Larry is preceded in death by his father Earl Braley and mother Mary Hamilton. Larry is survived by his son Vincent Braley; daughter in law Rory Braley, grandson Justin Braley and grand-daughter Kristen Braley of Mesa, AZ; daughter Dena Braley of San Francisco, CA; daughter Teresa Gomez, son-in-law Eddie Gomez, and grand-daughter Adelina Gomez of Albuquerque, NM. Larry retired from General Electric (GE), where he worked for many years as a machinist. Larry enjoyed golfing, collecting coins, and traveling. He was an avid reader, enjoying mystery novels and other fiction. Larry always enjoyed watching baseball. He followed the principals and supported the philosophy of AA. Larry was 25+ years in sobriety. He supported many others in maintaining sobriety. He was most proud of his grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. Not a day goes by when you are not missed. You will forever be in our hearts. Services for Larry will be held at Daniels Family Funeral ~ Carlisle Chapel on Friday, October 23rd at 4:30 p.m.
