Gallegos, Larry  
Age 85, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019. He was born in Socorro, NM, on February 10, 1934, to Andres and Librita Gallegos. 
He is now reunited with his wife, Ida Gallegos.  He is preceded by his wife, Ida Gallegos, father, Andres Gallegos, mother, Librita Gallegos, brothers, Santiago, Andy, Dick, James, Johnny, and Tony Gallegos;  sisters, Pauline Garcia, Rita Alegria, and Rose Calvillo.  Larry is survived by brothers, Dennis, and Luciano Gallegos; sisters, Gloria and Nelly Cardiel.  Larry served in the Army and the Army National Guard, he also served the Socorro community as a city councilman and as a self-employed businessman.  He enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends, dancing, and going to the horse races in Santa Fe and Ruidoso Downs.  Larry will be missed by his family and friends.  Rosary was recited on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 8:30 am, followed by a Communion Service at 9:00 am, at the San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro, New Mexico, 87801. Pallbearers were Charles Gallegos, Frankie Martin, Leroy Gallegos, and Sam Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearers were Danny Garcia, Joe Gallegos, and Arthur Jojola.
