MILLIGAN, LARRY Larry Milligan born March 13, 1941 to Sarah Milligan and Louie Milligan passed away on October 26, 2013 in his home. He was preceeded in death by his parents and his brother Bruce Milligan. Leaving behind are his sisters, Ellen Madrid and her husband Albert, Nancy Silva and her husband Edward and MaryAnn Wallin and her husband Jim. He is also survived by his children, John Kelly Milligan, Erin Quinn Milligan, Sam Milligan and his daughter Shanna Colleen, 13 grand children and 1 great grandson, numerious nieces and nephews. Larry was in the Navy for 7 years right out of High School. He left with an honorable discharge. Larry (Choo Choo) was a member of the Black Berets for many years. He had since retired from the club, but maintained his closeness with his "Brothers". He was a Conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad and retired after 30 years of service. In his lifetime he loved music and played multiple musical instruments but his main love was his steel guitar. At the time of his death he was surrounded by his instruments. Larry lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed it every step of the way. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 9:00 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N.
