Larry Leroy Wetmore

August 15, 1940 — April 26, 2012

Larry Wetmore, 71, passed a way peacefully April 26, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Larry was a very talented artist who enjoyed spending his free time carving beautiful southwest furniture and pictures. He was a hard worker, enjoyed landscaping and building things. Larry severed in the Marines. His love for God was very strong. He spent many hours studying and talking about religious matters. Larry was born in San Diego, CA to Marvin and Ann Wetmore. His life was full of struggles and heartaches starting when just an infant. One trial he never fully recovered from was the loss of his son, Monte, who was killed in a car accident at age 17. Larry moved to the Albuquerque area about 16 years ago. It was there he met his wife of 12 years, Carolyn Hinkle. His family takes comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. Larry will be greatly missed by his wife, Carolyn; his daughters: Julie and Katrina (John); his step children: John (Sonia) and Tonya (Sonny); nine grandchildren: Jenna, Joanna, Karry, Lena, Desirae, Shea (Nadia), Karly, Taylor, and Andy; four
great grandchildren; two half sisters: Barbara and Joan. Per Larry?s wishes there will be no services at this time. Cremation has already
taken place. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. His family would like to thank Sol Amor for the compassion and care they showed Larry. Michael, Josh, Lisa, Phil, Coren, Steve and Tammy you were all such a blessing to us. Thank you to Sabana Care and Rehab Center for the care you gave Larry in the last few days of his life. Daniels Family Funeral Services thank you for all your care and support. A special thank you to Pastor Don and our Central SDA Church Family for all your love and support. Rest in peace Larry knowing you were loved. We look forward to seeing you again at the Lord?s soon coming.
