Laura Marie Gross

Laura Marie Gross, a loving homemaker and caregiver, passed away on July 5, 2024, in Rio Rancho, NM. She was born on October 18, 1959, in Grants, NM. Laura's life was one dedicated to caring for her family and finding joy in the simple pleasures of the great outdoors.

Throughout her years, Laura found immense fulfillment in spending time with her loved ones. She cherished moments surrounded by family and friends while engaging in activities she adored. Laura had a passion for nature, often immersing herself in camping trips, hiking adventures, fishing escapades, and hunting expeditions. Additionally, she appreciated various music genres and created lasting memories attending concerts with dear companions.

In the hearts of those who knew her best, Laura's memory will forever resonate. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Wayne P. Gross,, and her mother, Marie Antoinette Erdman; along with her daughters, Michele Wood and Jenny (Christian) Cardenas of Rio Rancho, NM; her son, Wayne "Patrick" Gross of Rio Rancho, NM; her brothers, Michael Erdman of Rio Rancho, NM and Anthony Erdman of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Karen Erdman and Charlene Erdman of Rio Rancho, NM; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Jim Woodard. Laura also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her love.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Erdman; grandson, Alexander L. Gross; mother-in-law, Eileen Gross; and father-in-law, Floyd Gross. In addition to her human family members, Laura will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Kayla Summers-Gross, Alex Wood, Jayden Wood, Sebastian Martinez, Daithan Moore, and Karen Cardenas. Her loyal canine companions Tank and Camy will feel the absence of their loving companion deeply.
