Age 90, died peacefully December 28, 2011, with her family beside her. Born in Winslow, AZ, on November 9, 1921, she grew up in Albuquerque. She was a 1939 graduate of Albuquerque High School, and lived in Arizona and Texas while raising her family. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Delmar; her daughter, Jeanette Miller, and her partner, Tom Brahl; her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Lisa Kirby of Las Cruces, NM; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Kirby. Known as Nana to all who loved her, she lived a life of dignity and grace and shared her love with many family members and friends. She will be missed. A Visitation will be held at 11:00 am with a Funeral Service following at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Home, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Presbyterian Hospice Program, 8100 Constitution Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Laura's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services
