Laura Elizabeth Sears

SEARS-Laura Elizabeth Sears, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, 63, a resident of Rio Rancho for 26 years, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010. Laura is survived by her husband of 42 years, Donald R. Sears Sr; her children, Donald Jr. and wife Jodi, Robert and wife JoAnne, Donica, Cathy and Reno; mother, Eliza V. Martinez; sisters, Tomasita Martinez, Marylena Martinez; brother, Cristobal Martinez and wife Carrie Mae; beloved uncle Anastacio Vigil and aunt Fabiola Vigil; close cousin, Lorraine Vigil; grandchildren, Adriana, Kortney, Mariana, Dante, Jordan, Drexel, Angelina and Arthur; loving family, Marcella and Fred Kramer, Florence Sears Sandoval, Liz and Tony Ramirez; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and loving friends. Laura was preceded in death by her father, Adriano Martinez; grandparents, Canuto and Agustina Vigil, Cristobal and Tomasita Martinez. Laura was born and raised in Alcalde, New Mexico. Laura served as a Private in the U.S. Army and was also a long time employee of JC Penney. The pallbearers will be George Martinez, Dominic Martinez, Darren C de Baca, Dante Valdez, Jordan Valdez, David Kramer, Mark Kramer, Arthur Sears, and Christopher Martinez.
