Lauren Nicole Hammitt

Lauren Nicole Hammitt left this world Monday September 22, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. to be with her heavenly Father. She was born January 24th, 1983 to Marlene Mesa and Culbertson Hammit. Lauren loved working at Starbucks where she built a tight bond with her fellow employees. She loved to read, watch movies, cook, and spend time with family and friends.
Lauren was preceded in death by her grandpas William Harrison and Leo E. Russell, Sr., her uncle Leo E. Russell Jr., great grandpa David Brewster and great-great grandmother Francis Brewster.
Lauren leaves behind her daughter Kaidence Erica Asher Wilson, 2 years old, her fianc�?© Eric Wilson, mother Marlene Mesa of Hogback, brothers and sisters Danzell, Zelldan, and Aubree; father Carb Hammitt of Albuquerque NM; Grandmother Margaret Harrison of Hogback, Uncle Darrell and wife June, children Chloe and Zhoni of Shiprock, NM, Samantha Mesa of Fort Defiance, AZ, and Robert Mesa of Santa Fe, NM; Aunt Sherrell Mesa of Hogback and her children Autumn Peralto and husband Elroy, their sons Joel and Elijah of Fort Defiance, Iris Hillis of Fort Defiance, Clyde Hillis II of Fort Defiance, and Amber Hillis, her daughter Amya Phillips, of Ignacio, CO; Cousins Patrick, Zachary, and Monique Russell and their mother Jeri Russell of Farmington, NM; Aunt Naomi Russell and husband Elco Garcia Sr., their children Shirelle Gleason of Flagstaff, AZ, Gabriela, Caitlin and Elco Garcia Jr., of Ignacio, CO; numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, great aunts and uncles and many friends.
Pallbearers are Patrick and Zachary Russell, Robert Mesa, Clyde Hillis II, Richard Evans, Preston Tom, Hosteen Valencia and Shoshane Tsosie.
