Volquardsen, Lauren Rachelle
Age 19, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on September 5, 1999, to Dustin and Tammie Volquardsen. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Oscar Hoffer. Lauren is survived by parents, Dustin and Tammie Volquardsen; siblings, Theron Volquardsen, Cheyanne Volquardsen; grandparents, Fred and Carol Volquardsen; grandmother, Teri Hoffer; great grandmother, Nancy Maynard; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lauren was a first year student at the University of New Mexico and was on the deans list. Lauren enjoyed hiking and was fascinated with astronomy. She loved animals especially her dog, Cinnamon and bird, Spotty.  A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Lauren's honor to the Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Shelter at www.wmranch.org. Lauren is now at peace with God and will be dearly missed by everyone she knew and loved.
