Lawerence L Selva Jr.

Selva, Lawerence L. Jr. Age 89, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014. He was born on November 10, 1924 to Lawrence L. and Mary (Campo) Selva of Albuquerque, NM. A member of the Greatest Generation, he proudly served our country in the US Army. He was a renaissance man, a jack of all trades and master of most, an extraordinarily gifted storyteller, mentor, friend, confidante. He retired from being a lineman and was a 65 year member of IBEW Local 611. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie G. Selva; brothers, Ralph H. Selva and Charles J. Selva; sisters, Norma S. Jackson and Eugenia Rendance. Mr. Selva is survived by his nieces and nephews: Kathryn D. Berkebile, Jeff Jackson, Stan Selva, Charles Jackson, Lawrence Brad Selva, Jennifer Buffington, Matthew Rendace, Cole Selva, and Mitchell Rendace; and dear friend, Enrique Colon. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2014 and Daniels Family Funeral Services, Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM. Following the Viewing and Visitation, the Rosary and Service will be held. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
