Lawrence A. Sjogren “Larry” died on December 29, 2022, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Larry was born on October 8, 1937, in Illinois to Albert Sjogren and Evelyn Camille Tapper.
Larry is survived by his wife, Alice R. Sjogren of Rio Rancho, New Mexico,
His daughters; Wendy Kestle (Tim Kestle) of Denver, Colorado,
Susan Peters (Dave Peters) of Denver, Colorado
and Jennifer Kruger, also of Denver, Colorado.
His nephews, Christopher Parrish (Danielle), Robert Parrish (Christie Parrish), Nick Parrish (Joanie Parrish), and their children, James, Eli, Gracie and Sean Parrish. His stepchildren; Joe Polichette (Marie), April (DeMarie) Joseph (Fefe) Tony (Trin) Susan (Scott) Amanda (Sam) Connor, Zoey, Julia (Chris) Carter and Thea.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Camille Tapper, his father, Albert Sjogren, and his sister, Donna Parrish. He is also survived by his three granddaughters: Kelsey, Samantha, and Megan and his beloved pet, Bella.
Larry graduated from Glen Allen High School in Illinois. Larry was a realtor for 20 years. His interests were wide ranging and included bicycling, target shooting, camping, motorcycle riding, aerobics and traveling! Larry was an avid antique car collector and enthusiast, and he loved his horses.
He belonged to various clubs that included Post 49, and a Gun club. He was a member of Christ the King and St. Francis churches.
