Gonzales, Leandro Philip 
Age 51, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM with his family by his side. He was born in Socorro, NM on June 5, 1967, to Philip and Jennie (Montano) Gonzales. Leandro lived most of his life in Socorro and he graduated from Socorro High School. He was happy go lucky person and a hard worker.  He enjoyed music and playing his harmonica, dancing and making people laugh. Leandro loved raising his horses. He worked for Cortez III at White Sands Missile Range for about 8 years, for Chavez Construction, and the last 8 years at Fiber Optics where he spent a lot of time traveling the country. Leandro is survived by his children, Leandro Gonzales Jr, Shawn Gonzales, and Kendrick Gonzales; his parents, Philip and Jennie Gonzales; grandchildren, Shawn Jr. and Arrianna; sisters, Lisa Peralta and husband, Ruben, Verna Lucero and husband, Leroy, and Darlene Cordova and husband, Carlos; brothers, Patrick Gonzales, Aaron Gonzales and wife, Linda, Paul  Gonzales, and Raymond Pargas; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and friends.The Holy Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 9:00 am.  Celebrant Rev. John Anasiudu.  Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery  following service.  Pallbearers will be Patrick Gonzales, Aaron Gonzales, Paul Gonzales, Raymond Pargas, Joel Partridge, and Ruben Peralta.  Honorary pallbearers are Eddie Bernal, Leroy Lucero, Aaron Gonzales Jr. and Nicolas Gonzales. Leandro's care has been entrusted to
