Leddie V. Sedillo

Sedillo, Leddie Loving father, grandfather, and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the age of 78. Leddie was well known throughout Albuquerque, Veguita, Belen and every city in New Mexico. As children we were always amazed at how many friends and family our father knew any place we went. As we got older we realized what a giving and loving man he was to everyone he met. His passion was helping family and friends without reward, he loved to throw parties so family and friends could come together and laugh about times past. We know he will be missed by many, but his memory and unforgettable smile will forever be kept near our hearts. Your loving children, Tony, Carlos, Paul and Esperanza He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Christina; parents. Leddie is survived by his sons, Tony Sedillo and wife Betty, Carlos Sedillo and wife Louisa, Paul Sedillo and wife Monica; one daughter Esperanza Nelson and husband Gerald; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. A Rosary to be recited at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 7:00 pm. A Communion Service will take place at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd SE on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow. Pallbearers are Juan Romero, Jose Rivera, Mark McCarty, Stanley Mirabal, Ramon Lucero and Happy Homes Saul. Honorary Pallbearers are Dennis Chavez and Mario Garay. Leddie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
