Lee Baca

BACA - Lee Baca, 80, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on January 28, 2011. He was born on January 24, 1931 in Fort Bayard, NM. Lee was the 3rd of 5 children born to Leo and Margaret Baca. He was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Salomon; sister, Suzie; and youngest brother Johnnie; one brother survives him. Lee served in the Navy and Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Katherine of Albuquerque; son, Mike and wife, Kathy of Bosque Farms; son, Rick and wife Lynn of Covington, WA; son, Tom and wife Lorraine of Albuquerque; daughter, Lisa and husband Walt Scartaccini of Irvine, CA; and son, Randy and wife Mandy of Albuquerque; as well as 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and loved ones. A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at 9:00a.m., with services following at 10:00a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 11750 San Victorio Ave NE, with private interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery with honors.
