Leo (Savage) Esquibel , age 68 born in Roy NM, a resident of Albuquerque passed away January 3, 2017, at home with his family by his side, Survived by his wife Del, of 48 years two daughters Marquita and husband Julian Smith, Kimberly and husband Hector Ramos . Five grandchildren Matthew, John, Destini, Marisa and Alyssa. Many brothers, sisters, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
Leo was Preceded in death by his Father Secundino,Mother Josie, Brother Thomas, Sister's Lucille, Pauline, Bernice
Leo retired from the city of Albuquerque Solid Waste department as a Truck driver for 25 + year in 1994. Leo loved his fishing, hunting, camping being with his family and friends, he enjoyed his (Beer of choice Budweiser) He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
He loved going to the casino with his sister's Cris and Anita and he looked forward every year to visit with his brother Roy from Virginia he enjoyed spending time with his siblings. He had many hobbies, such as making tin men wind chimes, also he made beautiful canes, he loved his nature walks in the Bosque every morning.
Leo was a joker and a prankster he was very outspoken and told it the way it was. He always had a nicknames for everyone he met. He loved his sweetie Del with all his heart, always telling his girls don't worry about me just take care of yourself's. Our Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather will be greatly missed may you rest in peace until we meet again, with all our love your Family.
