Leona Mae John

Leona Mae John died May 12, 2011, in Albuquerque. She was born Dec. 15, 1978, in Fort Defiance. She was born into the Bitter Water People Clan and born for the Reed People Clan. Survivors include her mother, Hadesbah “Hattie” John; brother, Aaron John; sister, Karen John. John was preceded in death by her father, Luke Leon John; brother, Leroy John; grandparents, John Bitsuie, Nasbah Bitsuie. Pallbearers will be Albertson James, Darwin Walker, Shawn Walker, Robert Day, Cody Begay, Clint Cowboy, Henry Francisco Jr., Albert James Jr. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Parish Hall, following services.
