Leonard Clarence Schultz

Leonard Clarence Schultz, 81 of Kirtland, passed away on February 6, 2011. He was born on July 29, 1929, to Julius and Leona (Horman) Schultz in Wheaton, MN where he lived throughout his childhood. Leonard later entered the army and enjoyed participating in boxing events during his time there. He married Agnes, the woman who became his life-mate, in 1964 after they met while he was driving trucks. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing the one-armed bandits - which he was very good at! Leonard was a devoted husband and family man. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Schultz; his parents, Julius and Leona Schultz; his brothers, Roy, Lester, Erwin and Marvin Schultz; and his sister, Violet Bugher. He is survived by his step-daughter, Connie J. Stock and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Carrington officiating.
