Benavidez, Leonardo "Leo"   
of Albuquerque, NM. Age 75, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 11, 1943 to his birth father, Ramon Rivas; father, Juan Benavidez; mother, Chonita Benavidez. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred Benavidez, Ramon Rivas Jr.; sister, Rosmary Tafoya; granddaughter, Adrienne Apodaca; nephew, William Fehr.

Leonardo  is survived by wife, Mary Louise Benavidez; daughters, Gloria Apodaca, Juanita Benavidez; son, Leo Benavidez; siblings, John & wife Cathy, Peter, Martin & wife Dorothy, Janet & husband Bill, Theresa & husband Alex, Phillip; grandchildren, Vanessa, Valerie, Angelo, Jade, and Isabel and great grandchildren; Xavier, Kaylee, Elijah, George, Evelyn, and Isaiah. 

Leo enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. Watching sports, especially his favorite team "the Dallas Cowboys."
He will be greatly missed by all he knew and loved him.
