LeRoy Francisco Garcia

LeRoy Garcia was born December 18, 1954 in Herlong, CA and passed away August 29, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Estella Garcia. LeRoy is survived by his wife Margie Garcia, his children Johnathan, Jessica, Corey, Carmelita Garcia, Megan Wilkinson, and his three grandchildren. LeRoy proudly served in the Navy for 20 years, and then retired as lieutenant commander and then continued to work with the government and veterans in the years that followed. LeRoy was a hardworking and dedicated man, who loved and supported his family with his whole heart. He loved to travel and meet new people any chance he got. He brought joy, love, laughter and a good time everywhere he went. He loved telling dad jokes, doing charity, jeeps and New Mexico green chile. To say he will be missed is an understatement. "Fair Winds and Following Seas." Services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque NM 9 Grazing Elk Dr, Jaconita, NM 87506. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00am, followed by a Mass. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bob Woodruff Family Foundation or Stand up to Cancer.
